The Portuguese Chaimite 4×4 Wheeled APC (Armoured Personnel Carrier) was developed by Portuguese Firm BRAVIA to meet the requirements of the Portuguese Army. The first prototype was completed in 1966 and production commenced there after. Its also believed that the vehicle was sold to Lebanon, Libya, Peru and Philippines.

The Portuguese Chaimite 4×4 Wheeled APC Variants

V-200: Standard APC and baseline vehicle for other variants. Driver and commander sit up front, gunner and his traversable Machine Gun (x1 or x2 7.62mm) located in the middle and the troop compartment in the rear, which can accommodate 8 troops or used for other variant roles.

V-300: Fitted with a turret mounting a 20mm chain gun.

V-400: Fitted with a turret mounting a 90mm main gun for fire support role.

V-500: Command and Communications vehicle.

V-600: Internal mortar carrier (up to 120mm).

V-700: Wire-Guided Anti-Tank Missile carrier.

V-800: Field Ambulance.

V-900: Recovery/Repair vehicle.

V-1000: Used by Security/Police.

BRAVIA Mk II: Proposed upgraded version, did not enter Production.

BRAVIA Mk III: 8×8 wheeled version, did not enter Production.
