The Hungarian Turan II Medium Tank was a modified Turan I. It used the same hull but an enlarged turret to accommodate a shortened 75mm main gun. Production commenced in late 1942 and by 1943 322 had been delivered to the armoured formations of the Hungarian Army. The vehicle was used against the Russians, but proved an inadequate design.
