The TRM 10000 6×6 French military truck

TThe TRM 10000 6×6 French military truck is manufactured by Renault Trucks and is the successor to the TRM 9000th. It is primarily intended for transporting military loads, but there are also versions for other tasks.

The production of the TRM 10 000 began in 1985. It was developed from the earlier nine-ton TRM 9000, which was intended mainly for export. It differs from the extended wheelbase by an improved transmission and a more powerful engine.

Originally planned the French armed forces, to procure 5000 trucks, but ultimately, only about 1,000 vehicles ordered. The TRM 10 000 was produced in several variants. It can carry up to 24 soldiers on benches in the back. A special version with extended cab was designed as a tractor for the French Field Howitzer Canon 155 TRF1.
