The French AMR 33 Light Tank (The Automitrailleuse de Reconnaissance) was developed by Renault for the French Army as a reconnaissance vehicle. 123 were built between 1933 and 1935. It relied on mobility rather than firepower and protection for its survivability.

It did serve during the 1940 invasion of France with the French Army and during the occupation as a tractor for moving German planes on airfields.
