The German Panzerschnellbrücke 2 AVLB is built on a Leopard 2 tank chassis, this Armoured Vehicle Launch Bridge has 3 bridge sections which are each 9.7m long, allowing the vehicle to deploy a number of different length bridges. It launch’s the bridges horizontality to avoid detection and can take anything from 5 to 10 minutes to do so, depending on the size of the bridge.

The German Army has 35 of these vehicles and the Dutch Army has 14 where it’s designated Bruglegger MLC 70.
