The Italian 6614 4×4 Wheeled APC

The Italian 6614 4×4 Wheeled APC is a wheeled Armoured Personnel Carrier developed and manufactured by Italian firms FIAT and Ota Melara.

It has a standard layout, driver sits front left with the engine to his right. Troop compartment is in the rear and accommodates 10. The have firing ports running along both sides of the vehicle for them to fire their personal weapons so as to not expose them to enemy fire. There is roof cupola mounting a .50 cal Machine Gun which the troops can man. Doors are located on both sides of the vehicle for troops to dismount the vehicle.

The armour protection is standard steel offering protection against 7.62mm Machine Gun fire. Additional appliqué armour can be added and has been in the past when the vehicle was deployed to Bosnia as part of IFOR with the Italian Army.

The vehicle is full amphibious using a trim vein on the front and powered in the water by it wheels.
