The US T29 Heavy Tank was a prototype developed to counter the lethal German King Tiger in both firepower and armour that was resilient to its main gun. Prototypes were delivered to the US Army in 1945 following a  US requirement in 1944. The 105mm main gun required x2 loaders. The vehicle never entered serial production.
