Overview

Prior to the release of version 7.5, the M46 Patton was the highest tier American medium tank, at tier IX. It was the third top tier vehicle I ever got and used it to earn free exp whilst working on other tier vehicles when I achieved Elite status with it.

Generally I have mixed emotions about this vehicle, on the one hand it has the highest percentage of victory’s of all my tier IX medium’s on the other hand it feels like it has chocolate armour and not as solid a drive like the E-50 so doesn’t excite me in the same way other tier IX mediums do.

In terms of medals, it has a lot more than my E-50 (on a ratio bases per battle) and seems to excel at sharp shooter. The one thing I do love is its steering. The tracks turn in opposite direction so it can turn on the spot rather than breaking on one side like the T-54 and taking a wide turn circle, so is better to fight with in tight spots.
