Overview
Prior to the release of version 7.5, the T-54 was the highest tier Russian medium tank, at tier IX. It was the second top tier vehicle I ever got and used it to earn free exp whilst working on other tier vehicles when I achieved Elite status with it.
The first thing I noticed was how expensive it was to repair the vehicle and felt like a money pit as I grinded through the research of the modules to elite status.
What I did love was the speed and how much fun I had when ramming other tanks to death! So I mounted the medium spall liner to give me increased protection from ramming.
When playing the T-54 it’s a great vehicle for diving in and out of other enemy tank formations due to its speed (mobility and reload time on main gun), plus with its thick turret armour it can take some punishment. However I have the least number of victories with it and lesser number of medals.
