The Glover Webb Armoured Patrol Vehicle

The Glover Webb Armoured Patrol Vehicle

The former Glover Webb company is one of many who have manufactured light personnel carriers/patrol vehicles using a Land Rover chassis to mount an armoured body. Glover Webb manufactured their APV from 1986, delivering roughly 100 to the British Army for Northern Ireland where it served along other Land Rover patrol vehicles like the SNATCH. The vehicle used a standard Rover V-9 engine and has steel armour plate to protect the x2 crew and x6 troops in the back from small arms fire.
