The British Bedford M-Series Truck

The British Bedford M-Series Truck was a commercial truck and manufactured in the UK since the late 1930’s. During the 1960’s it was modified for military purposes and heavily purchased by the British Army and further exported to other nations, with an estimated 50,000+ being built. It was eventually replaced it British Army service with the Leyland T244 from 1989 onwards.

It’s a standard military truck, in that it has a removable canvas top and drop downside and tail gate, so that it can carry palletised cargo or troops (20).
