The Ukrainian KrAZ-260 Military Truck production began in 1979 and it wasn’t seen until the 1985 Red Square military parade held in Moscow, towing the nuclear-capable 2A36 152mm howitzer field gun. But the chassis can be used for a number of roles.

In 1999 this heavy utility truck was succeeded with improved KrAZ-6322.
