The Czech LT-34 Light Tank

The Czech LT-34 Light Tank was developed and manufactured by Czech Firm CKD. 50 were ordered by the Czech Army in 1934. The vehicle did not prove as successful as CKD’s competitor Skoda’s LT-35, which Germany had pressed in to service as the PzKpfw 35(t) when it invaded Czechoslovakia. The German’s actually rejected the LT-34 despite offers for the vehicle to be upgraded and they were passed on to Romania in later years.
