The Swedish Strv M/40 Light Tank

The Swedish Strv M/40 Light Tank

The Swedish Strv M/40 Light Tank was the first tank ordered by the Swiss Army to enter mass production (in 1941) for the intention of being highly deployed through out the army.

It never saw action despite being a good design and a welded construction. It had a hydraulic pre-select gearbox  with a high/low transfer box. The ‘K’ version was by another manufacturer.
