The American MAC-1 Armoured Car

The American MAC-1 Armoured Car

The American MAC-1 Armoured Car (Medium Armoured CAR 1) is a non-sophisticated 4×4 wheeled armoured car armed with a 20mm chain gun and was developed by the former Chrysler in the US for less affluent countries. Mexico was the first country to order the vehicle in relatively low numbers, which were delivered from 1962 onwards. A modified version called the MAC-2 was later sold to Spain who later sold the majority of them to the Mexico. Mexico has since upgraded theirs to the MEX-1.
