What Is Self Propelled Rocket Artillery?
Self Propelled Rocket Artillery consists of a rocket launcher on a vehicle hull or chassis so they can move across the battlefield under their own power. They are usually used for long-range indirect bombardment support. The launcher normally has multiple firing tubes and are a fixed calibre, which can be fired as a barrage aka Multiple Launch Rocket System or MLRS.
