The Russian BM-27 Uragan MLRS is a Multiple Launch Rocket System, developed in the former Soviet Union and still remains in service with the Russian Army and a number of other nations. Designated the 9P140 by GRAU (Main Agency of Missiles and Artillery of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation) it entered service with the Soviet Army in 1975 and still remains in service.
