The Japanese Type 94 Tankette

The Japanese Type 94 Tankette was developed and based on the Type 92. It was armed with a single 6.5mm MG mounted in the one man and was traversed by applying shoulder pressure against the gun.

Production commenced in 1934 and an improved version in 1936. Improvements included retractable idle wheels and asbestos insulation in the turret to protect against the suns heat.
