The Swedish Strv M/39 Light Tank had a revised gun mantlet which incorporated the main gun and two MG’s. Steering levers replaced the steering wheel of the previous model. The vehicle was designed so that appliqué steel plates so as to increase the armour to 35mm thickness could be added if required, however this never proved practical as it had a negative effect on the mobility of the vehicle.
