The Type 94 tracked armoured re-supply vehicle

The Type 94 tracked armoured re-supply vehicle aka Type 94 tracked armoured re-supply vehicle is a derivation of the ZSD89 aka Type 89 APC, with a stretched hull to carry additional payloads. The vehicle was designed to deliver ammunitions, equipments, and general cargo inside its rear compartment to forward area in support of field units. The originally sloped armour on both sides of the troop compartment are raised to vertical angle to give more space inside the compartment. To support the lengthened hull and increased combat weight, the vehicle has six pairs of road wheels instead of five.

The vehicle is fitted with a roof-mounted, hydraulic crane for fast loading/unloading. For self-defence, the vehicle has a 12.7mm anti-aircraft machine gun mounted on the commander copula. A four-barrel smoke-grenade launcher is mounted on both sides of the vehicle. The crew and the cargo are fully armour-protected.
