Review of the Trumpeter LAV-R model

This Trumpeter kit was fairly cheap and simple in its construction. It’s part of a series of USMC LAV models which looks good.

It was very quick and easy to build as it is the 4th of its kind that I have done.

I airbrushed on Tamiya acrylic paint XF-59 desert yellow. I painted on Revell matt black (8) for the road wheels & MG and Tamiya XF-67 NATO green on the ammo box.

I used 752 (blue) on the sights. Finally I used Humbrol Enamel white satin (130) and Revell 31 & 30 for all the lights.
