The Chinese Type 85 122mm Self Propelled Gun is another ‘hybrid’ of existing Chinese vehicles. it’s a Type 85 aka the YW531H APC hull (which is an improved version of the Type 63 APC) mounting a W-86 122mm howitzer main gun (which is a derivative of the Soviet 122mm D-30 howitzer).

The main gun has a limited traverse left and right. It can fire a standard HE round to a reported range of 15.3 miles. The vehicles status is not known.
