The Russian T-46 Light Tank

The Russian T-46 Light Tank

The Russian T-46 Light Tank was a hybrid by adding the famous Christie Suspension of the earlier BT series to the hull and turret of the T-26. The resulting 1953 production T-46 promised to be a faster and better reconnaissance tank, however it proved expensive and difficult to build. It also was less reliable than the former T-26 and BT series.
