Review of the Revell BMP-2 model IFV

This Revell kit was fairly cheap and simple in its construction, I didn’t even have to build the road wheels!
The nice part about the model was the choice of different paint schemes. This one is airbrushed (with Tamiya acrylic paints) to match the Indian Armies BMP’s in the UN mission to the Sudan in 2006. (I airbrush the lower hull to avoid spraying the tracks when doing the upper hull).
The tracks were not singular rubber, but had to be built with individual bits and were fairly easy.
The side skirts didn’t quite fit, so I attached them to the hull with Selotape whilst the glue went off.
Over all it’s a simple kit to build and would suggest it as a stopgap if someone were unable to find a more challenging model to build.
